Any success treating epilepsy holistically?

How successful are holistic treatments for a dog with epilepsy? I want to find alternatives for the medication my dog is currently on because he does not seem to be doing well with them.

Thank You!

6 year old dog's eyes were watery and he was doing a lot of eye squinting,,,,

I noticed that my 6 year old dog's eyes were watery and he was doing a lot of eye squinting,,,,I checked him out head to toe and discovered a lump/swelling on left side of his throat....took him to my vet...a needle aspiration led my vet to feel that we might be dealing with an infected salivary gland.. my vet said my dog did have an elevated temp.I am waiting on cytology lab results.....my vet prescribed Clindadrops...I am worried because his symptoms have been going on now for 2 and a half days....do you have any idea what might be going on with my dog? Any possible conditions for me to research would be greatly appreciated... I just can't figure out what is causing the eye squinting and is it related to the swelling in his throat area

Rimydal alternative for 16 y/o dog with limp?

My Sister has a 16yrs old Dachshund/Poodle mix, who has a severe limp, Xrays normal, does not want to give him Rimydal because of possible side effects. Is there anything else which could give him relief and hopefully a cure? He still wants to go for walks etc.

Thank you for your consideration.

4 year old doggie was diagnosed with Lymphoma.

This past fall, my St.Bernard/Golden Retriever, 4 year old doggie was diagnosed with Lymphoma. I had him on about 3 months of chemo, and he was doing very well on it, but decided to take him off of it to go a holistic approach. The chemo just seemed too traumatic of an approach. I tried a couple holistic approaches, but am thinking I might not have given any one of them a really whole-hearted approach. And now I'm kicking myself because his lymph nodes are enlarged, and looks like I absolutely have to put him back on the chemo.
I'm going to do both chemo and holistic, it looks like. If anyone has any sure fire holistic approaches that they recommend, please let me know. For some reason, this whole thing is difficult for me to confront.... Especially the chemo aspect. I'm just in denial that there's anything wrong with him.
Aside from enlarged lymph nodes, he is exceedingly healthy, lively, playful and full of life. I think it would be helpful to have some sort of reassurance that certain approaches really do help and that I'm doing the right thing. I feel a little overwhelmed and really don't know if any of what I've done was the right thing or not. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tritrichomans Foetus help.

We have an Ocicat who has been diagnosed with Tritrichomans Foetus and his brother who is asymptomatic has not been diagnosed.but has been his companion for several years and therefore exposed.
We have read Jody Gookins research and talked to another Ocicat owner who followed her research protocol with Ronidazole. The drug is hard to obtain as an experimental treatment and has toxic side effects
such as paralysis, convulsions, and even death. It is the only drug that has been followed to treat this condition in cats that we can find. Do you know of any vets that have experience treating this condition
in the San Francisco Bay area or anywhere that we could contact? Any alternatives for treatment?
